Typically this time of year everyone is asking me for new ideas and tips on how to get their child moving during these cold winter months. I feel like we haven't had to worry about that much becuase the weather has cooperated so well this mild winter and the kids have been able to be outside a lot.
We've turned our learning and moving to nutrition this winter after teaching the kids during the fall HOW their body works we are now teaching them what FUELS their body.
After a short holiday break we starting teaching about Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D. Your child has probably asked for lots of green and orange fruits and vegetables to see in the dark (Vitamin A) and breakfast foods to get energy for their day (Vitamin B). They are working really hard to get rid of and repel colds, coughs, and cuts with juicy Vitamin C fruits and vegetables. We're all going on vacation to a hot, sunny beach to get some much needed Vitamin D.
